Next Stop - BroadSoft Connections
This a busy time for industry conferences, and like everyone else, I'm trying to pick my spots and attend what I can while still leaving time to get the work done that pays the bills.
Last month I attended two conferences - IT Expo and Toronto Tech Week, as well as a handful of local vendor briefings. This month I'm going to two vendor events so far. Other things may well pop up, but I'm definitely trying to limit my road time.
Next stop for me will be BroadSoft Connections 2008. It starts this Sunday, and I'll be there through Wednesday. This is one of my favorite vendor events for many reasons. I have a long, friendly history with BroadSoft - going back to my days at Frost & Sullivan, and with each passing year the story keeps getting better - more customers, more partnerships, richer offerings. I'm especially impressed with how they've embraced 2.0 offerings, and am looking forward to seeing mashup winner Thomas Howe and buying him a drink.
BroadSoft also puts on a first rate event and the setting is always fantastic. I feel lucky since only a handful of press and analysts attend, and I'll do my best - as in the past - to update you here on how things are going.
